STUDIO RENTAL
Studio Details
Studio 1: Studio 1 is about 40 feet x 21 feet with a corner taken up by the bathroom – approx. 750 square feet. Portable and wall-mounted barres, stereo system with CD pitch control, MP3 player cable and remote. Adjoining bathroom, skylights, heater, and viewing gallery. Marley-type floor suitable for all dance styles. (Left)
Studio 2: Studio 2 is about 35 feet x 13 feet – approx. 300 square feet. Portable barres, stereo system for CD, and MP3 player cable. Semi-private room with adjoining bathroom, large bay windows and marley-type floor suitable for all dance styles. (Right)
Studio 3: Studio 3 is located at 5000 Geary on the corner of Geary and 14th Ave. It is a wheelchair accessible ground floor space, approximately 21′ x 23′ about 483 sf with an ADA compliant bathroom, 3 dressing rooms (not wheelchair accessible), sprung floor, mirrors, barres, stereo system with pitch control CD player and MP3 player cable, air conditioning and heater. Marley-type floor suitable for all dance styles. There is a small waiting area accessed through the studio. (Left)
*Please note-Studio 3 is in a different location from the main location and Studios 1 & 2.
Rental Policies
- All renters must have a $1,000,000 Liability Insurance policy naming GDC as additional insured on file in the GDC office.
- If a key is required, there is a $100 key deposit which shall be returned when the key is returned.
- Payment is due at the beginning of the month for the days to be used during that month.
- There is no credit for times not used or cancelled.
- Additional rental times or any rental changes must be cleared by GDC office-please check the website for availability before requesting times.
- For ongoing rental, GDC requires 30 days notice before final rental.
- For occasional and/or irregular rental dates, ending dates must be announced at time of initial rental.
- For one time only rentals, payment must be made before rental time commences.
- All renters must fill out rental form and waiver before renting. Any and all students and rehearsing artists must fill out GDC waiver.
- Rental times for studio 1: 6am-10pm depending on GDC class schedule.
- Rental times for studio 2: 8am-9pm depending on GDC class schedule.
- Rental times for Studio 3: 8am-9pm depending on GDC class schedule.
- Geary Dance Center CANNOT host personal trainers, martial arts, aerobics or gymnastic classes.
Rental Rates
Studio 1 *Max – 15 adults
- Rehearsals, Solo or Small Group Work – $30/hour
- Rehearsals/Classes of 12+ – $40/hour
- Hosting Workshops – $50/hour
Studio 2 *Max – 5 adults
- Rehearsals, Solo or Small Group Work – $20/hour
Studio 3
*Max – 8-10 adults depending on style
- Rehearsals, Solo or Small Group Work ? $25/hour
- Rehearsals/Classes of 10+ $40/hour
- Hosting Workshops – $50/hour
