YOGA FOR PRE-TEENS/TEENS: ages 10-18
Yoga is an excellent way to develop a stronger body and calmer mind. It improves flexibility, core strength, posture, balance and body awareness as well as focus and concentration. Yoga can help alleviate the stress the pre-teen and teen years as well as keep the rapidly growing body strong and supple resulting in a healthy sense of well-being. This class will work on basic positions and a flowing yoga sequence with some partnering. Instructor can accommodate multiple levels of instruction.
Attire: comfortable and closer-fitting athletic wear, bare feet or yoga socks. No loose or baggy clothes. Mats supplied by GDC or byo.
